Artist Tini T is one of the (hidden) alter egos of Herman Labro, initiator and founder of De Kunstbank Vzw and Galerie Ev'n&yet located in Louvain in Belgium. In the summer of 2002 he invited me to meet Tini T during at an opening at Galerie Ev'n&Yet. She served lemon limonade on the rocks in transparant plastic cups, on the spot written with a text in white marker. I was asked not to talk to her about her art for reasons of being stressed and over-worked. Herman showed me a documentation with works of Tini T obviously inspired by the works of Sylvie Fleury, yet with a remarkable own touch. I invited Tini T to have a first solo exhibition in AP. Years and years later, Voebe de Gruyter told me that Tini T is one of his made up artists he invited to be part in events and group shows. |
